This started out as a Common Sense Marketing experiment in the hopes that it will end up helping people bring back Common Sense Marketing to their business and thereby bring about the wonderful benefits that it can bestow upon those that use and embrace it.
Ironically, Common Sense Marketing is as hard to find as Hens teeth and even more effective. It could rightfully be called UnCommonsense Marketing and the description would fit better.
What the site is really about is people just like you coming together and sharing their marketing ideas, having someone else to run ideas by and to learn from others. At first when I came up with a great idea, I would horde it and not want to share it with other.
But I was wrong. I finally figured out that the exact opposite was true. When I shared my ideas with others, their suggestions often made it far better than my original idea.
Plus, it took me quite sometime to realize this, but even when you do share a good idea or even a great one, that vast majority of people won’t recognize of believe it. Especially if it is a Common Sense Marketing idea.
